Is the first class really free?
Yes. The first class is completely free so students can experience Mentra’s structure before committing — with no obligation to continue.
Do you tutor online or in person?
Both. Mentra offers live online tutoring across Australia and in-person lessons around Bunjil Place, Narre Warren.
How do online lessons run?
Live video lessons with screen sharing and digital resources shared instantly — the same structured teaching, practice and feedback as in-person classes, from home.
What subjects do you offer?
VCE General Mathematics, VCE Mathematical Methods and VCE Physics, plus Years 7–10 Mathematics and English.
Do you provide practice SACs and resources?
Yes. Every student gets practice SACs, exam-style questions, worked solutions, topic notes, weekly homework and progress checklists.
What if my child is behind?
Lessons start by diagnosing the gaps, then rebuild skills with clear teaching and targeted practice at the right pace.
What if my child is already high-achieving?
Support focuses on harder question types, precision, exam reasoning and stronger SAC performance to push marks even higher.
How do group classes work?
Group classes run with around 3–5 students, combining structured teaching, focused practice and individual feedback.
Are there lock-in contracts?
No. There are no lock-in contracts — you can adjust or stop anytime.
How do payments work?
Payments are due each Monday before that week’s classes. If weekly payments don’t suit your family, monthly arrangements can be discussed — just ask.
Can students get help outside class?
Yes. Ongoing help between lessons is part of the support structure, so students aren’t stuck waiting until the next session.
